Carmel Market & the Yemenite Vineyard Tour
Carmel Market is the oldest and largest market in Tel Aviv, and undoubtedly one of the city's most popular spots. It is an integral part of the Carmel Shuk neighborhood, once a poor area and today the trendiest in the city. On this tasting tour, we'll explore the market's history and heritage while discovering its most fashionable spots. We'll taste traditional Yemenite dishes alongside the most innovative and delicious offerings that Carmel Market has to offer.
Refreshing juices, Yemenite pastries from a “hole in the wall,” comforting soups, family-owned falafel, dreamy fisherman’s sandwiches, olives from across the Middle East, amazing pita filled with goodness, fresh vegetables, fruits, seasonal stalls, and old shops frozen in time — Carmel Market and the Yemenite Vineyard have been a magnet for Tel Aviv locals and food lovers for over 100 years. On this tour, we'll taste iconic dishes, discover hot culinary trends, and hear amusing stories while wandering through the charming alleys of the Yemenite Vineyard neighborhood, all in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
