I offer two food tours in Tel Aviv: Carmel Market & Kerem HaTeimanim and Levinsky Market. The Carmel Market & Kerem HaTeimanim tour starts in the alleyways of Tel Aviv’s historic Yemenite Jewish neighbourhood before continuing into Shuk HaCarmel. We’ll explore the community, its food traditions and the ways the neighbourhood and market have changed over the years. At Levinsky Market, we’ll discover family-run delis, spice shops and food traditions brought here by different communities, and see how they continue to shape the neighbourhood today. You can explore the two tours, or tell me a little about yourselves and I’ll help you choose.
Anyone who enjoys good food, is curious about people and places, and likes a story or two along the way.The tours work well for families, friends and visitors who want to get to know Tel Aviv through its food and everyday life. Whether it’s your first visit or you already know the city, there’s always another story to discover.Explore the tours →
