LocaLocal is a unique and exciting way to get to know Tel Aviv culture and Israeli cuisine.

Tel Aviv… It’s crazy! But in a good way. You can find yourself in a posh art gallery and then walk 5 minutes and you’re at the beach. You can walk the ruins of an ancient synagogue in Jaffa, while hearing the Muezzin calling for prayer from a nearby mosque. You can walk in the colorful Carmel Market, engulfed in an intoxicating aroma of local foods and spices, finding yourself wanting to take a bite out of everything.

And this is what LocaLocal is all about. It’s not your everyday Tel Aviv food tour. It is a slice of real Tel Aviv. It
is a true local experience, a way for you to use all of your senses and connect intimately with the local culture and food, all while keeping a huge smile on your face. By the end of one of our market tours, you will know about Tel Aviv (and especially Kerem HaTeimanim neighborhood), will experience the local Shuk (market) to its fullest and most importantly, will have a belly full of authentic Israeli food that you can now cook yourself, anywhere.

Join the tour, learn about one of Tel Aviv’s most interesting neighborhoods, search for the right ingredients in the market and cook your heart out :)

Hi, I’m Tal
and I’m a little Loca

Welcome to my dream. This is what I’ve always wanted to do and I’m happy to share it with you. I am passionate about many things in life, but food and Tel Aviv are at the top of my list. While I was raised in Jerusalem, I have spent much of my adult life in Tel Aviv and I love this city. I’ve always wanted to give people from all over the world access to the amazing experiences and flavors Tel Aviv has to offer, until I finally decided to make my dream come true and created LocaLocal.

I have been cooking all of my life, absorbing influences from my family, the markets of Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv scene and from anywhere I can. I have always believed that food is one of the main aspects that define a culture (which is why I also studied it as part of my M.A. in anthropology), and I want to invite you to share my culture through your plate and palate. So come on and give LocaLocal a try. I won’t bite - but I’m sure you and your group will take a bite out of everything my tour has to offer.
